Lightweight TT Champions Switch To Dunlop Tyres

Lightweight TT champions RC Express Racing, are switching to Dunlop Tyres for the 2017 roads season, as they link up for the first time with the company first founded in 1890.

Having enjoyed great success with Metzeler in recent years, securing a hat trick of Lightweight TT titles, the team feels it’s the right time to make the switch to Dunlop’s.

The tyre marque since 2009 has gone unbeaten in the Superbike and Senior TT races, plus holds the Superbike, Supersport and Senior lap records, showcasing the sheer quality of the products produced by them.

Recently at Cartagena in Spain, Ivan Lintin and new RC Express signing Steve Mercer, gained their first miles on their 2017 steads.

During the past week, both riders, piloted a variety of high spec Kawasaki machinery, alongside working closely with Dunlop and Maxton Suspension.

Established now amongst the leading roads outfits, Roy & Ben Constable’s teams opening pure road racing action of the year, is set to be at the Spring Cup National Road Races, at Oliver’s Mount.

Without a doubt though, one of the main aims for the season is making it four Lightweight TT titles in a row, which could also potentially yield Ivan Lintin a unique race winning hat trick in the Super Twins class.
