Lee Johnston has had a quite memorable 2015 pure road racing season.General Lee’s season began at Spring Cup National Road Races, at Oliver’s Mount.
Main highlights of the meeting included second place finish in opening supersport race, plus third position in senior race 1, on East Coast Racing S1000RR BMW.
Vauxhall international North West 200 would prove to be highly prodigious for the East Coast Racing rider.
Supersport races saw Lee lead the Triumph challenge, as he battled for race victories with Alastair Seeley, Glenn Irwin, Michael Dunlop and Bruce Anstey.
Back to back third place finishes where achieved as he proved his prowess around the triangle.
Opening superbike encounter, would see Lee finish a more than creditable fourth following a top class all round performance.

Superstock race two would prove to be standout moment of the opening international meet of the season.
Race victory was achieved, as Lee won a highly compelling race, seeing off challenges from Alastair Seeley, Ian Hutchinson and Michael Dunlop.
After multiple dazzling display’s at North West 200, the stage was set for Lee to enjoy his best TT Races to date.
Competing for the fourth time on the mountain course, he began race with ninth place finish in RST superbike TT.
This was followed by excellent fourth place finish in Monster Energy supersport race 1.
Royal London 360 superstock TT was next up, following arguably his best performance to date at TT Races, third place finish was achieved, as Lee secured his first podium finish at the most famous road race in the world.
Another podium finish was secured in TT zero race, following third position on Victory Motorcycles machine.
TT 2015 ended in consistent fashion with top six finish in Monster Energy supersport TT race 2. With series of top class results, new personal best lap speed of 130.851 mph, and series of of podium finishes, it was without a doubt his best Isle of Man TT to date.
Solid results at Barry Sheene Festival Powered By Suzuki and Cock of the north road races at Oliver’s Mount, continued the highly accomplished nature of Lee’s season, going into the Ulster Grand Prix.
The weeks action at the world’s fastest road race, would prove without a doubt the main highlight of Lee’s pure road racing career.

Hat trick of victories where secured, after thrilling supersport, superstock wins on East Coast Racing 675 Daytona Triumph and S1000RR BMW.
Plus third place finish in feature superbike race, showed that Lee was now well and truly established amongst leading superbike competitors in pure road racing.
Third place finish in 500 classic TT, David Jefferies cup trophy victory at Scarborough Gold Cup, IRRC race two victory at Frohburg, where all further proof of why Lee is considered by many to be the lead rider of the 2015 season.
His final pure road race meet of the season, is set to be at the Macau Grand Prix, where he has every chance of sealing podium finish or better.
