Looking to build upon ultra impressive maiden Triangle, Mountain Course tenures, Switzerland’s Lukas Maurer is hugely looking forward to sampling for the second time next year the North West 200 and TT Races.
Maurer who finished a more than creditable fifth within this year’s IRRC Superbike Championship, 1000cc machine of choice for his International roads ventures in 2020, will be his own teams trusty ZX-10R Kawasaki.
Catching the attention of various roads aficionados at last May’s North West 200, with his potent of pace, accomplished race craft, Maurer went onto expand his stature within the pure roads scene at TT 2019.

Despite gaining minimal track time during practice week, thanks to the persistent inclement weather on Manx shores, the Swiss star went onto enjoy a very productive race week.
Lap by lap, sector by sector, race by race gelling more and more with the fabled, mythical Mountain Course he went onto acquire an array of strong placing’s in the 1000cc races, registering three top 50 finishes including finishing 29th within the drama filled Dunlop Senior race.
Amongst a select group of TT debutants to have lapped in excess of the 123.5 mph lap mark, there’s no doubt that Maurer has the potential, talent to enjoy a very successful career at the world’s most famous, illustrious road race.
