The Loughshinny Motor Cycle Supporters Club, announced last evening that the Killalane Road Races, will be returning to the Irish road racing calendar in 2017.
Killalane is scheduled to run next year in September, whilst the popular Skerries Road Races, also organised by the Loughshinny Motor Cycle Supporters Club, is planned to take place in July, full race dates are still to be announced for both meetings.

Stated last night via Facebook, the organisers of two of Ireland’s most prominent roads meetings, issued this statement, regarding next years events.
“Loughshinny Motor Cycle Supporters Club, talks over the last few weeks with all our sponsors, means that both our Road Races in 2017, the weekend in July and the Killalane Road Races in September 2017 will go ahead.
I can confirm that the club had applied for both dates and with strong support from all our sponsors we are looking forward to running two successful events in 2017.
We are also proud to announce, that following a meeting with our main sponsor Country Crest, that Killalane will be once more be the season finale seeing riders compete for championships to the finish line.”
