Wigan’s Josh Daley is eagerly awaiting his second TT Races voyage, as he participates in the Monster Energy Supersport encounters aboard his own teams ZX-6R Kawasaki.
A recent 16th place finisher, in both Dickies British Supersport races at Oulton Park, Josh goes into TT 2017 aiming to steadily improve upon his consistent pace shown during his debut last year.
Speaking after competition at Oulton Park, Josh said:
“I felt good on the bike this weekend and I’m pleased to have taken my best results of the year so far just before we head off to the TT.
I’m a lot fitter now than the beginning of the season and although the races were quite lonely and uneventful, I focused on my lap times and maintaining the consistency which I did.
There’s not long now before the TT so we’ll be working hard over the next few weeks to ensure we’re fully prepared and I can’t wait to head down Glencrutchery Road once more.”
With just 25 days till TT 2017, like all competitors, Josh is preparing day by day for the showpiece event of his season.
Although he’s only 20 years of age, you can tell want he wants to achieve in the future. He has the potential to in years to come, become an established podium finishing contender at the world’s most famous road race.
