Josh Brookes Improving All The Time In Road Racing

Josh Brookes is improving all the time in road racing. Josh’s second time competing at the North West 200 began with the Milwaukee Yamaha rider clinching third place finish after a gritty display having been battling throughout for race lead.
Second supersport race saw fourth position secured, feature superbike race would see Josh on the Milwaukee R1 Yamaha hold race lead with two laps to go when he made a slight error which allowed Michael Dunlop through to take feature superbike race victory.
Still Josh went onto finish in personal best second place around the triangle plus had the honour of setting a new outright lap record with lap speed of 122.958 mph.

Onto TT 2014 and after a productive practice week Josh would go onto achieve 10th place finish in Dainese superbike TT finishing leading Yamaha mounted rider. The senior TT would see the highly rated rider produce a highly accomplished performance as he recorded seventh place finish.

Plus Josh lapped at 129.859 mph his quickest lap speed to date around the mountain course and not far off joining the 130 mph club. Despite having only made his TT debut last year the former world supersport championship race winner is already gradually becoming a rider who can battle for podium finishes across all classes on the most famous road racing circuit in the world.

Its not 100 percent clear yet that Josh will be returning to action for third year in a row on the mountain course but one things for sure if he does he will have the potential to aim for podium finishes in superbike, supersport and the blue riband senior TT.
