Jamie Coward got his road racing comeback season off to a good start at season opening Spring Cup National Road Races.
Spring cup A final first leg provided Jamie competing on Barnes racing R6 Yamaha with highly respectable 15th place finish.
Opening super twins race proved to be a highly consistent one for the third place finisher in 2013 500 classic TT as he finished in 10th position.
First classic formula 1 race of the weekend saw Jamie in top form on Mistral racing’s ZXR 750 Kawasaki as he secured second place finish, finishing leading Kawasaki mounted rider.
Second spring cup A final race would see the rising road racing star produce another high quality performance this time finishing in 11th place.
Jamie’s return to pure road racing action at Spring Cup National Road Races was one of the feel good moments of what was an action packed meeting.
The second place finisher in second supersport race at 2012 Southern 100 thoroughly enjoyed his return to action on the roads at Oliver’s Mount.
Next road race meeting on the horizon for Jamie is the Vauxhall International North West 200.
Following the North West 200 he is set to return to competition on the mountain course at TT 2015 competing in superbike, supersport, superstock, lightweight and senior races.
