Newcomers Manx GP winner in 2019, Andy Jackson is set to return to the competition duties in 2024, taking in all Oliver’s Mount Scarborough events for new suitors, Moto CJ Racing.
Paul Milnes outfit are supplying the Wirral racer with TZ 250 Yamaha tackle, for outings at England’s only closed roads circuit.
Candidly speaking about this subject, Jackson who last October became a father, stated:
“I’m Looking forward to testing in March before returning for a full season at Olivers Mount for the first time since 2020.
Moto CJ Racing are putting a brilliant Yamaha TZ250 underneath me and Paul Milnes (team owner) has a wealth of knowledge as an ex-racer and all-round motorsport fanatic which should help us hit the ground running in the Lightweight class.
Moto CJ imports specialise in the importation of Japanese Road and race bikes and when Paul called me up to come and have a look at the TZ he had on the bench I jumped at the opportunity to swing my leg over it.”
He expanded further:
“I haven’t ridden a race bike since the Anglesey Grand in 2022 so Thank you to Paul for believing in me that I still know what I’m doing!
I’d like to thank the Falcon electrical Southport team for looking after me so well for many years, enjoying wins at the Manx GP, Oliver’s Mount and Wirral 100 club together before parting ways in 2023.”
