Sam West’s TT 2024 venture, will include a return to the Super Twins class, having recently purchased from Hunts Motorcycles, an R7 Yamaha.
2018 Privateers Championship runner-up, West’s TT CV boasts positives a plenty.
The 30th fastest racer in TT history (PB lap speed 129.716 mph), he’s pocketed no less than eleven top fifteen finishes.
His last outing astride Super Twins tackle around the fabled, mythical Mountain Course, arose in 2016, when he placed a respectable 18th.
As shown last year by Peter Hickman, the compact, nimble R7 Yamaha is a potent, trusty, continuously improving machine.
Whilst his Twins class calibre, isn’t well noted, don’t discount Wilmslow’s West from springing this June, a surprise or two.
Expect him to additionally fare well in the 1000cc races, for which he races current generation, M1000RR BMW tackle.
West will also contest the Monster Energy Supersport races, on to be confirmed machinery.
