ESR Competitors Update: Road To Hengelo

Its’ t-minus one month till the ESR (European Series Road Racing) opener at Varsselring, Hengelo (2nd-3rd May).

Competitors can still apply to compete in the inaugural ESR season, either full-time or as wildcards.

Additionally, an active push for Supersport racers under ESR patronage at Imatranajo continues, after the IRRC’s decision to drop Nordic Nations top road race from their calendar.

Pure road racing’s hardy, ultra enthusiastic community wishes series organisers, active racers, potential Manx Grand Prix newcomer Laurent Hoffmann and Rob Van Eijs, the upmost support with the newest European roads scene themed, Championship.

Following on from our last update in the middle of January, there are some changes in the list of full season ESR competitors:

Newly confirmed: Rasmus Lindstrom, Jean-Pierre Polet, Damien De Reys, Anssi Koski, Olivier Lupberger.

Missing now: Vassilios Takos, Rene Mlkvy, Erno Kostamo, David Brook, Emil Krchnavy, Christoph Kreller, Florian Astner.

ESR 2026 Superbike provisional start-list update, containing now thirteen riders of seven nations, is projected underneath:
