BMW have a strong line up for this years superstock TT race which includes Michael Dunlop competing for his own team MD racing on a S1000RR BMW. Michael was victorious in superstock race 2 at North West 200 and is confident of the bikes potential on the mountain course as he bids for his third superstock TT victory in four years.
Bathams BMW had a top North West 200 which included two second place finishes for Michael Rutter in both superstock races. The four time TT winner has every chance of battling for race victory in superstock TT this year in a race which will arguably give the top all round road racer of his best chances for victory at TT 2014.
Team mate to Michael at Bathams BMW is Stephen Thompson. Stephen made his TT debut back in 2010 and has since gone onto record many a highly creditable results including lapping at over 125 mph. Paul Shoesmith’s Ice Valley by Motorsave ltd team have a superb line up for superstock TT race.
Paul himself is competing plus Ben Wylie, Sandor Bitter and TT newcomers Laurent Hoffmann and Peter Hickman. Peter Hickman’s road racing debut at North West 200 was a huge success, Peter will start as one of the favourites to be leading newcomer at TT 2014.
As will Martin Jessopp who is competing on a HP4 BMW for Riders motorcycles in superstock TT. Martin twice runner up at Macau Grand Prix showed the speed of the Riders motorcycles HP4 BMW recently at North West 200 with two top five finishes, another good result is on the cards in superstock TT race for both rider and team.

Bruce Anstey and John McGuinness between them have won 29 TT races and the TT legends are once again teaming up competing for Padgetts racing who are backed this year by Valvoline oil. Both Bruce and John are confident in the potential of Padgett’s Hondas as both bid for more superstock TT glory.

James Hillier leads Kawasaki’s entry into superstock TT race. James competing for Quattro Plant Muc off Kawasaki will be aiming for a podium finish in what is set to be a ultra competitive and exciting race where this is so many riders capable of race victory.

Which includes Gary Johnson also Kawasaki mounted competing for JRC racing. After finishing runner up in superstock TT last year and third place in superstock race two at North West 200 the rider nicknamed aka Driver has to start one of the favourites for victory.
Horst Saiger was one of best riders at this years North West 200, Horst competing on his own teams ZX10 Kawasaki broke the superstock lap record and recorded 5th and 4th place finishes. The fifth fastest newcomer in TT history will be a rider to watch in superstock TT race as the talented road racer aims for personal best race result.

Dean Harrison is competing on a new ZX10 Kawasaki for RC Express racing. Supremely talented road racer Dean starred in 2013 superstock TT race by finishing in 4th place, this year could well see Deano making it onto the podium and there is every chance the runner up in 2013 Duke road race rankings championship from 2012 could take his first TT victory.
Conor Cummins showed good form at North West 200 in opening superstock race finishing in seventh place. The third fastest rider in TT history is competing in this years superstock TT race for RAF Reserves Honda, Conor looks set to be one of the leading Honda riders in a race where the current lap record is 131.220 set by Michael Dunlop in 2013.

Tyco Suzuki by TAS team of Guy Martin and William Dunlop will both be looking for good results in superstock TT race as will Lee Johnston who is Honda mounted competing for East Coast racing. Lee had a great North West 200 and is aiming for a top six finish in superstock race.
Keith Flint’s team traction control are running Steve Mercer in this years superstock TT race on a GSX-R 1000 Suzuki, Steve made his TT debut back in 2009 and has a best finish of eighth place in 2013 superstock TT. David Johnson impressed greatly at TT 2013 lapping at over 127 mph and top ten finish in senior TT.
PR racing Kawasaki David could spring a surprise in superstock race as could Dan Stewart. Dan competing for SMT racing is aiming for his first TT podium finish, 2012 TT privateers championship winner has a fine record in recent years around the mountain course which includes top six finishes, top eight finishes and many top ten finishes plus a lap speed of over 129 mph.

Dan Kneen’s in top form this season going into superstock TT race and the Cookstown/Burrows engineering rider was one the pace at North West 200 and cannot be discounted from securing a top result. Jamie Hamilton is excited about TT 2014 competing for Wilson Craig racing, the teams CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade could well give Jamie a good chance of securing his best result so far in 1000cc races at Isle of Man TT.
Shaun Anderson, Stefano Bonetti, Dan Cooper, Derek Sheils, Jimmy Storrar, Davy Morgan, Michael Sweeney, Ivan Lintin, Rob Barber, Paul Owen and Ian Mackman are all top riders who add further quality to what is overall a top entry list for 2014 superstock TT race.

An interesting entry for superstock TT is from Splitlath motorsports who are running Mark Miller and Brandon Cretu on Buell’s. Its difficult to say how competitive the American bike will be on the mountain course but its greatly encouraging to see a new manufacturer competing at the worlds greatest road race.
TT newcomers competing in superstock TT include Alan Bonner competing on CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade for the peoples bike team. Alan former Irish road race senior support champion is a big talent in road racing and is greatly looking forward to making his TT debut.
Callum Laidlaw, Phil Crowe and Dan Kruger are all set to make their TT debuts. Phil and Dan are BMW mounted whilst Callum is on a Honda for his own team Laidlaw racing.
Third place finisher in 2013 international road racing championship Vick De Cooremeter is competing on a S1000RR BMW for Okidoki racing.be, Vick always near the sharp end when competing in IRRC is achieving an ambition he has always wanted to achieve in racing which is to compete at Isle of Man TT.
Moto 3 world championship points finisher Danny Webb’s TT debut will be watched by many and the superstock TT could give the KMR Kawasaki his best chance of personal best result on his debut on the mountain course this year.

Superstock TT races in recent years have got closer and closer and this years race looks set to be no different.
