Marek Cerveny took first honours in the race for 2024 IRRC Supersport Championship victory, having poached in comprehensive fashion, Supersport Race 1 laurels at Hengelo.
Three laps in, 2.6 seconds to the good over fellow Czech rider Petr Najman, Cerveny and his sweet sounding WRP Wepol Racing Parts Triumph, final race winning margin, nudged past 5.2 seconds.
Najman gained second with the final spot on the rostrum, clinched by Performance Racing Achterhoek’s Ilja Caljouw after holding off the attentions of 2018 Irish Road Race Superbike Champion, Varsselring debutant Derek McGee.
Romain Cleaz Savoyen took fifth, Darryl Tweed on his IRRC racing debut for Never Be Clever Racing scored an impressive sixth place finish.
Kevin Mos was seventh with eighth, ninth place finishes going to Rhys Hardisty and Manx GP front-runner Jamie Williams.
Team Schleizer Dreieck’s Sebastian Frotscher was tenth whilst overall 19 racers reached the conclusion of the nine-lap race.
