The third round of the 2016 International Road Racing Championship at Chimay in Belgium, saw world class pure road racing a plenty at the iconic roads venue.
IRRC Superbike:
IRRC superbike championship leader Vincent Lonbois increased his championship lead at Chimay, with back to back victories on the Herpigny Motors backed S1000RR BMW.

Team mate and reigning champion Sebastien Le Grelle lead the challenge to his fellow Belgian, in both races.
G&G Motorsport backed Didier Grams and veteran road racer Marc Fissette, shared the third place finishes.
Johan Fredriks sealed series of fourth place finishes, whilst Patrick Quintens, Thomas Wendel, Petr Biciste, Christian Wiesinger and Christophe Guerouah all impressed.
Jochem Van Den Hoek, seventh place finisher in the second IRRC superbike race, continues to further establish himself amongst the Netherlands leading pure road racers.
TT 2016 saw Jochem on his Mountain Course debut lap in excess of 121 mph, plus finish a highly respectable 36th in the blue riband Pokerstars senior TT.

IRRC Supersport:
Marek Cerveny underlined his IRRC supersport championship winning quality at Chimay, with first class display’s on the Intermoto backed ZX6R Kawasaki.
Nearest challenger to the reigning IRRC supersport champion was 2014 series winner Joey Den Besten, on the Performance Racing YZF R6 Yamaha.
Bobby B Bos and Laurent Hoffmann, secured between them two third place finishes and two fourth place finishes.
Pierre Yves Bian fifth place finisher in both IRRC supersport encounters, is rapidly developing into one of France’s most prominent competitors on the roads.
Additional stand out performers from Chimay included Kevin De Frenne, Arnaud Seydoux, Denmark’s Anders Blaha, Wolfgang Schuster and Thomas Walther.
