Nigh on ideal racing conditions greeted the close to thirty rider field, lining up for IRRC Horice Supersport Race 1 endeavours.
Anticipated leading forces, Petr Najman and Marek Cerveny by the mid-point of lap two had pulled away from third, fourth placed Wolfgang Schuster and Gary Johnson.
A tenth here, a tenth there, Najman, Cerveny were-so evenly matched per lap even on lap five when both broke the existing middleweight class lap-record.
Najman (new Supersport lap-record – 2.14.531) in the following lap, was trying to break Cerveny’s resolve, opening a slightly bigger gap to his great rival.
Then completely out the blue as lap seven loomed, Najman crashed out! (ok post high-side incident).
This gave WRP Wepol Racing Parts Triumph propelled Cerveny, a huge lead which remained in earnest to the race’s finalisation.
Cerveny now back into the IRRC Supersport Championship lead, final victorious margin stood at 24.1 seconds.
Gary Johnson (Team Schleizer Dreieck – Suzuki) took second after Najman’s misfortune, problems for ‘Wolfi’ Schuster.
Never Be Clever Racing’s Darryl Tweed, joined them on the side lines, retiring from P3 on lap eight.
Tweed’s misdemeanour allowed Delmo Racing’s Mauro Poncini to finish third with Karel Brandtner, Matej Vit, Markus Karlsson fourth to sixth.
Seventh to tenth were Rico Vetter, Ilja Caljouw, Moritz Klaus and Sebastian Frotscher whilst Brits David Brook, Mike Mace scored respective thirteenth, eighteenth place finishes.
