Inaugural Baja International Tourist Cup Entry Taking Shape

It’s all systems go for the inaugural Baja International Tourist Cup, which has attracted to date a diverse entry featuring racers from seven different nations.

Located close to the USA/Mexico border, the event is the brainchild of respected race events organiser Pedro A.Vargas Valdez.

Notable confirmed entrants thus far included long term TT Races exponent Wade Boyd, Alex Torres Mori and Obsession Engineering supported Eric Wilson.

Seasoned national, International road racer Wilson most recent speed themed expedition has seen him tackle the illustrious Bonneville Salt Flats Speedway.

Aboard his prime 1000cc BMW Superstock TT steed, he has recorded timed speed runs in excess of 178 mph.

Alongside Wilson, the first International Tourist Cup is set to feature no less than five competitors from Mexico and 15 competitors from the United States of America.

Reminder North America’s newest pure road race takes place from the 30th-31st of October and a few days beforehand the San Pedro Martir Hill Climb commences.
