Molyneux/Sayle Clinch National Sidecar Title

Sidecar TT legends Dave Molyneux/Dan Sayle clinched in comprehensive fashion on Sunday at Jurby, the 2021 National 1300cc Open Sidecar Championship title.

Championship success for the 25 times TT winners combined was secured via success in the opening three wheeling encounter around the Jurby Airfield course (clockwise configuration), which saw the all star KTM powered pair surge to honours, finishing 11.472 seconds ahead of chief title chasers Craig Melvin/Stuart Christian.

Molyneux/Sayle’s latest triumph with their evocative sounding outfit only increases the positivity, good vibes ahead of TT 2022 when their outfit makes it’s Mountain Course racing bow.

Solo contests wise, the penultimate Andreas Racing, Jurby meet of 2021 proved tumultuous for Manx GP stalwart Marc Colvin, victor of both Single Twins/Triples races and the sole 700cc four stroke twin cylinder solo race.

Former Manx GP winners Dave Moffitt, Dean Osborne also showcased impressive form whilst added IOM roads favourites circulating aboard a wide ranging variety of different machinery included Paul Cassidy, Andrew Cowie, John Barton, Andy Fenton, Dave Quine, Peoples Bike Team’s Frankie Stennett and Dave Madsen Mygdal.
