Ten times TT winner Ian Lougher has an iconic mount for his Senior Classic TT challenge, as he competes on the John Chapman Racing MV Agusta.
The machine manufactured by HRT’s Ezio and Maurizio Mascheroni and Enrico Sironi, is a pretty much exact replica of the GP 500 MV Agusta’s, that competed in the Moto GP world championship back in 1974.
A two times winner at the Classic TT Races, we all know Ian Lougher’s prowess around the Mountain Course.
His progress on the immaculate MV that he’s set to pilot, will be watched closely by many.
Hugely looking forward to competing for John Chapman Racing, a confident Ian said:
“I am delighted to be riding for John Chapman Racing at the Classic TT on a bike that should be as good as anything else in the race.
MV Agusta is the most iconic brand of motorcycle when it comes to the TT Course and I am honoured to get a chance to ride one built to the same spec that legends such as Giacomo Agostini rode back in the 60’s and 70’s.”
