By Dan Hegarty was in excellent form around the mountain course during TT 2015 as he competed for the fifth time at the most famous and most iconic of all road races the Isle of Man TT.
RST superbike TT saw Dan get his race week off to a tremendous start with personal best TT Races finish of 13th position following a fine performance on ILR/Downshift Motorsport ZX10R Kawasaki.
The Royal London 360 superstock race would also prove to be highly prodigious for the rider who made an eye catching Oliver’s Mount debut at the Spring Cup National Road Races.
Dan went onto secure 20th place finish as he showed excellent pace throughout in a race won by fellow ZX10R Kawasaki mounted rider Ian Hutchinson.
The blue riband Pokerstars senior TT ended Dan’s TT 2015 campaign in extremely positive fashion.
Following another first class display the ILR (Ian Lougher Racing)/Downshift Motorsport rider clinched impressive 18th place finish.
Plus Dan cracked the 126 mph barrier setting excellent new personal best lap speed of 126.482 mph.
Having enjoyed a strong TT 2015 Dan’s next pure road race action is set to take place at the Southern 100 which this year celebrates its 60th anniversary.
As at TT 2015 he’s set to compete on Kawasaki machinery in superbike, supersport and solo championship races as he bids to make a notable impression on Billown.
Alongside the Southern 100 Dan is also set to make his debut at the worlds fastest road race the Ulster Grand Prix, whilst return to Oliver’s Mount is also set to happen at the prestigious Scarborough Gold Cup.
Dan Hegarty has shown at TT 2015 his pure road racing talent and ability, great first appearances at Southern 100 and Ulster Grand Prix are on the cards for the rider who currently holds 30th position in 2015 Duke road race rankings championship.
