Up and coming Sidecar roads passenger, Harry Payne, has joined Nick Crowe Racing, for competition in this year’s British Sidecar Championship, which will be used as preparation ahead of making his TT Races debut in 2018.
Having originally planned to make his TT debut this year, with 17 times TT winner Dave Molyneux, these plans ultimately failed to come to fruition.
His proven talent though, made sure it wasn’t long till another high profile team, began talking to him about future roads opportunities.
Set to link up with Ryan Crowe, son of five times TT winner Nick Crowe, his new HCR (Hudspeth Crowe Racing) stead, carries a 675 Triumph triple engine.

Commenting on his fresh new challenge, which is based around culminating in a strong TT debut in 2018, Harry said:
“I saw Ryan racing at Cadwell Park last summer and I was most impressed with him.
His lap times would have him running inside the top 5 of the British championship race, so he was bang on the pace considering it was his first time there.
I am disappointed to have missed out on the ride with Dave Molyneux, as it was a dream come true.
I’ve put a lot into it. I gave up my life in the UK to come here and properly learn the course.
But things are looking up and I am much happier now that I’m settled into such a great team. Hopefully everything will turn out well with Ryan Crowe under the guidance of his father Nick.”
