Rising star around the Mountain Course, Barry Furber is set to embark upon series of new challenges on the roads in 2017, with Team Greenhous Vauxhall.
Alongside a maiden bow into competition at the North West 200, one of the biggest changes, is within his machinery stable for the year, which sees him step onto 1000cc machinery for the first time, piloting a ZX10R Kawasaki.

A prominent exponent of the Super Twins class, last year’s Lightweight TT saw him finish a very creditable 13th, finishing in front of many highly touted fellow competitors.
Set to remain SV650 Suzuki mounted for the 2017 Lightweight TT, he is confident of contending for a top ten finish.
Prior to the North West 200 and TT 2017, he’s set to gain a vast amount of track time, at EMRA and Wirral 100 meetings.
The former Newcomers B Manx GP runner up, showcased at TT 2016 his ability on Supersport machinery, wrapping up 30th and 38th place finishes.
Now stepping into the 1000cc classes, he has the roads calibre, plus proven pace to make an accomplished transition onto his new ZX10R Kawasaki stead.
Looking forward to an exciting new challenge, in the RST Superbike, Royal London 360 Quantum Superstock and Pokerstars Senior races at TT 2017, he cannot be discounted from contending in my opinion for at least top 20 finishes.
