As stated before by me, hill climbs in essence aren’t full on pure road races but they are similar in terms of layout when compared to countless roads circuits across planet earth.
The five round FIM Europe supported European Hill Climb Road Race Championship which was delayed to late September, due to the Covid-19 pandemic had events this year solely in Italy with competitors taking in the picturesque, aesthetically pleasing Spolento Forca Di Cerro, Spino courses.

Reflecting on the 2020 series, as previously showcased North West 200 winner, Classic TT podium finisher Stefano Bonetti regained the Superbike class crown whilst Supersport title honours went to fellow countryman Maurizio Bottalico.
Remaining title winners were also Italian, three times successive 250 GP Champion Guido Testoni and Steven Bellavoine (Super Moto).
