In a first update ahead of the 2020 season, 19 times TT winner Michael Dunlop has confirmed that at present he has no deal in place with regards Superbike machinery for the North West 200 and TT Races.
Speaking via his Facebook racing page, 31 times International Road Race winner Dunlop who’s been tipped to return to the Buildbase Suzuki squad, stated:
“Despite all the rumours flying around about who I will be riding for this year I can confirm that I currently have no agreement in place to ride a Superbike for this season and I’m open to proposals.”

Dunlop added that he will be competing again in Superstock, Supersport classes this year for his own multi TT winning outfit, MD Racing.
“I will be doing my own thing for the Supersport and Superstock classes under the MD Racing banner as usual as that has proved to be a good way of doing things but we would always welcome new sponsors who are looking to partner with a successful team.”
Always one for enterprising new challenges, it going to be intriguing to see which path pure road racing legend Dunlop takes for 2020 in terms of the blue riband Superbike class.
