Derek Mcgee is on pole position on for tomorrow’s superbike race at Kells Road Races.
The reigning Irish road race supersport championship piloting Wilson Craig Racing’s CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade produced lap speed of 107.558 mph, as he showed top class form around Kells.
Finishing a highly impressive second quickest was Alan Kenny, whilst Alan Bonner competing on the peoples bike team ZX10R Kawasaki carried on his great form as seen at TT 2015 by finishing third fastest.
Brian Mccormack sealed fourth position in qualifying, William Dunlop finished leading supersport 600 mounted rider in fifth as he continued his impressive return to competition on CD Racing YZF R6 Yamaha.
John Walsh finished sixth fastest whilst Moira motorcycle club backed rising road racing star Paul Jordan finished a highly creditable seventh quickest.
A top class superbike race is in prospect tomorrow at the 2015 Kells Road Races.
