With just over a month till the latest instalment of the popular Aberdare Park Road Races, there’s been in recent weeks a steady run down of news via social media, about who will be tackling Wales sole roads venue in July.
Local favourite Justin Collins fresh from a first TT Races stint, is confirmed to return to the ‘Park’, piloting his own teams Yamaha in the Supersport, Welsh Open races.

Amongst those set to join him in Wales next month, include seasoned Irish roads competitor Paul Gartland.
2017 Irish road race 400 champion, the versatile Gartland who’s roads resume also includes finishing fifth in the 2007 Newcomers A Manx Grand Prix, has the proven roads craft to record a string of notable finishes next month.
Same applies to 2012 Senior Manx GP champion John Simpson, who will form part of a four rider Trickbits Racing entry.
Multiple times a race winner at Aberdare Park, the talented Antrim racer will be Suzuki Super Twin mounted for the feature Welsh Open races.
Joining Simpson as part of the Trickbits team’s largest event entry to date are meeting newcomers Greg Madero, Max Dixon and William Holland.
