Cock Of The North Road Races – Memorable Meet For Brad Vicars

Rising star around Oliver’s Mount Brad Vicars, enjoyed a quite momentous Cock Of The North Road Races.

With challenging wet, damp conditions on Saturday for the qualifying sessions, this threw up many a surprise which included Brad not qualifying for the junior A supersport and solo open A races.

Despite the disappointment of not qualifying for the feature races, Brad still went into the B final races in the supersport and solo open categories, confident of recording many a first class result.

The opening junior B supersport race saw him propel the AJB Racing CBR 600 Honda to race victory, following a highly accomplished all round performance.

Same notion applied to the second junior B supersport encounter, as he made back to back victories.

A hat trick of wins was sealed in the second solo B race, following another top quality display.

Ninth place finish in the blue riband race of the meeting the Cock O’The North, was an additional positive moment, from a great two days of pure road racing competition for Brad Vicars.

Next roads outing’s coming up for Brad are the Southern 100, Barry Sheene Festival Powered by Suzuki and making his debut at the Armoy Road Races.
