Chris Kinley Takes On Lead Commentator Role For All Scarborough Events

All round pure road racing aficionado Chris Kinley will take on the lead commentator role for all Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough events in 2020, beginning with the revived two day Spring Cup meeting.

Mostly known for his TT, Manx GP, Southern 100, Ulster GP commentary, presenting duties, Kinley previously provided lead commentary for Scarborough meets in 2016 and 2017 alongside Manx Radio co presenter, four times TT winner Chris Palmer.

Delighted to be returning to the Mount as lead commentator, the vastly respected Manxman stated:

“It’s great to see Oliver’s Mount back on the road racing calendar, and I can’t wait to get back to the exciting, historic race track. I’ve always loved the track and the holiday feel.

With four large race meetings planned for 2020, it’s going to be a busy and exciting year.”

Oliver’s Mount Racing Managing Director, Eddie Roberts, provided additional comment:

“We’re delighted to have Chris back in the commentary tower. We’d also like to take this opportunity to thank Tony Coupland who has been the voice of Oliver’s Mount for so many years for his dedication and entertainment. Chris has big shoes to fill.”
