Outright Lap Record Holder Harrison Confirms Scarborough Outings

Reigning Senior TT Champion Dean Harrison is set to sample selected Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough events in 2020, having confirmed via the latest episode in his newly launched podcast series.

Over 80 times a race winner at Scarborough, the quick talking Bradford racer in recent years has dominated at England’s sole closed roads course.

Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup winner in 2015 and 2016, the 2017 Cock O’The North Road Races saw him set a blistering new outright lap record of 1 minute 43.362 seconds, bettering Guy Martin’s previous existing lap record by over 0.9 of a second.

Victorious in all three Classic Superbike encounters from last July’s Barry Sheene Classic meeting, he showcased again why he is widely regarded now as one of the all time great Oliver’s Mount exponents.

Reminder competitive action at the Mount in 2020 begins on the 18th-19th of April with the revived Spring Cup meet, which is certain to attract a diverse, wide ranging, high quality solo, Sidecar entry.
