Callum Laidlaw Signs For RT&E Racing

Callum “Skoot” Laidlaw has joined the RT&E Racing team, for the 2017 pure road racing season, which is set to include a return to 1000cc machinery at the TT Races, for the highly rated rider.

Set to compete across all classes at TT 2017 excluding the TT Zero race, Callum is eagerly awaiting his third two week campaign around the Mountain Course.

Alongside this years TT Races, his 2017 roads schedule with RT&E Racing is set to include all Irish national meetings, which include the Tandragee 100, Cookstown 100, Skerries and Armoy.

His new teams most prodigious roads moments to date, include Michal Dokoupil’s 2016 Irish road race 400 championship success.

Delighted to welcome “Skoot” to their team, for action this year on ER6 Kawasaki and CBR 1000 Honda Fireblade machinery, RT&E Racing, stated via their Facebook page, today about their new signing:

“Welcome Callum to the 2017 Irish road race season on the Super Twin, and the 1000 on select races, TT can’t come soon enough.”

Callum went onto add, via his Facebook page, today:

“Pleased to tell everyone now the news is out! I have joined the RT&E road race team competing on there Super Twin at all the road races and Superbike at selected events.

Very professional team with great history can’t thank Keith McQuillan and the boys enough!

They will also be helping me run my own bikes at the events, if I need it which is a massive help, takes pressure of me a bit so can concentrate on my riding. Really looking forward to this year now!”
