North West 200 winners Team ILR with Mark Coverdale, are confirmed for the 100th Anniversary Manx Grand Prix, running twice successive European Hill Climb Supersport Champion, Maurizio Bottalico.
Highly impressive across his inaugural MGP campaign, Bottalico back in late August finished second best Mountain Course newcomer in the four-lap Senior race, placing overall twelfth.
Joining fellow countryman, Italy’s quickest TT racer in history Stefano Bonetti, in competing next year for Ian Lougher’s vastly experienced, respected Team ILR squad, he is set to race CBR 600RR Honda, S1-R Paton machinery.
Already part of a select group of competitors, to top the 116-mph lap mark at the Manx, he could well be a dark horse for a premium finish in the Junior Super Twin, Senior Supersport categories.
Reminder next year’s MGP, celebrating 100 years of creating the TT stars of tomorrow, runs from the 20th-28th of August.
