Banbridge’s Anderson Confirms TT 2019 Tenure

Nine years since first tackling the fabled Mountain Course, Banbridge’s Shaun Anderson has confirmed that he will once again return to Manx shores in May for TT 2019.

Runner up within the 2010 Newcomers A Manx Grand Prix, the highly rated rider as in recent times will pilot at TT 2019 his trusty Anderson Race Developments Suzuki in the RST Superbike, Royal London 360 Superstock and Pokerstars Senior races.

Alongside 1000cc competition, a new challenge for Anderson will see him jockey Flitwick Motorcycles Suzuki Twin steed in the ultra competitive Bennetts Lightweight class.

Set to join the seeded rider ranks at TT 2019, the affable Anderson who’s roads resume includes victories at the prestigious 300 Curves of Gustav Havel meeting at Horice (Czech Republic), like many talented, determined, ambitious, gutsy Independent competitors, can never be discounted from banking first rate results.

13th, 16th respectively in last June’s Superbike, Superstock TT encounters, TT 2018 also saw take Duffy Motorsport’s electric mount to a top six finish in the innovative SES TT Zero race.

Including TT 2018 at a glance Anderson’s TT CV to date includes no less than seven top 20 finishes, and completing in total 12 TT affiliated races.

Perhaps most impressively though his event CV includes lapping the mythical, illustrious Mountain Course at over the 128 mph lap mark, proof of his highly regarded talent on the world’s most famous roads course.

Ultra looking forward to TT 2019, Anderson is still on the lookout for additional sponsorship of any kind to help fund his latest TT tenure, which marks his tenth year of Mountain Course competition.
