Yesteryear Racing Stalwarts Loder, Ferguson, Davidson Amongst Early Pre TT Classic Entrants

Top level classic racing exponents Will Loder, Steve Ferguson and Barry Davidson are amongst a group of racers who have been quick to place entries in for this years Blackford’s Pre TT Classic Road Races.

More than a touch competitive around Billown, Loder, Ferguson and Davidson have all in their distinguished careers on yesteryear machinery enjoyed also many a tumultuous moment on the fabled Mountain Course.

Fellow esteemed yesteryear racing stalwarts confirmed to join them at Billown in May, include Alec Whitwell, Jeff Ward and 10th place finisher in last years Dunlop Lightweight Classic TT, James Ford.

Outside of the solo classes, early entrants for this May’s Sidecar encounters include Oliver’s Mount stalwart Tony Thirkell, Howard Langham and three times TT podium finisher Eddy Wright.

With already combined closing in on 100 solo, Sidecar racers entered, it shows the popularity of the Pre TT Classic Road Races.

Year in year out providing top class racing, evoking great memories from years gone by, it’s an absolute must event for classic racing enthusiasts, and adds something different and unique to the TT festival.
