Ashcourt Racing X2 At Macau As East Yorkshire Squad Links Up With Twice TT Winner Johnson

Alongside running Steve Henshaw International Gold Cup winner Lee Johnston, Ashcourt Racing’s first Macau Grand Prix campaign will also see them join forces with twice Supersport TT winner Gary Johnson.

Johnson like fellow multi International Road Race victor Johnston, will pilot next month around the Guia Circuit the same Carbon fibre HP4 Race BMW steed, that he recently competed on at the final No Limits Racing round of 2019 at Croft.

A former Macau GP rostrum finisher, Brigg’s Johnson has consistently been in the mix for strong results over recent years at the iconic meeting.

Never to be underestimated, the racer nicknamed ‘AKA Driver’ further enhanced his acclaimed Mountain Course Racing CV at TT 2019, banking four top ten finishes, to take his overall total of top ten TT placing’s to 31.

Established as one of the leading International Road Racers of his generation, he’s ultra keen to make the most of the new opportunity with Ashcourt Racing, who are certain to provide him with an ultra competitive, immaculately prepared S1000RR BMW.

Reminder the 2019 Suncity Group Macau Grand Prix, takes place from the 14th-17th of November, with two wheel race action taking centre stage on the 16th of next month.
