Armoy Road Races – William Dunlop Continues Dominant Supersport Form

William Dunlop continued his dominant supersport form, with supersport race two victory at Armoy Road Races.

Competing on the CD Racing YZF R6 Yamaha, William showed once again why he is regarded by many as the leading exponent in supersport class, in pure road racing.

He was victorious in the six lap race by 2.763 seconds over second place finisher Guy Martin, Guy only just held onto second place finish by just 0.034 of a second over Mar Train Racing’s Dean Harrison in third position.

Deano’s third place finish continues his run of finishing at least third or better, in every race he has finished since TT 2015, at Barry Sheene Festival Powered by Suzuki, Southern 100, Cock Of The North Road Races.

Derek Mcgee showcased his proven quality in supersport 600 class, as he finished a fine fourth on his own teams YZF R6 Yamaha.

BikeBitsNI Racing’s Derek Sheils secured highly creditable fifth place finish, finalising the top six finishers was Seamus Elliott on Wilson Craig Racing CBR 600 Honda.

Andy Lawson impressed finishing in seventh position, following a highly accomplished display on Shirlaws Motorcycles Racing ZX6R Kawasaki.

Billy Redmayne’s excellent Armoy Road Races debut continues, with hugely impressive eighth place finish.

Completing the top ten finishers where AIR Kawasaki’s Connor Behan, and 2007 North West 200 250 winner Christian Elkin.
