Supreme Display From William Dunlop In Opening Supersport Encounter At Armoy

William Dunlop produced a supreme display on CD Racing YZF R6 Yamaha, to record victory in opening supersport race at Armoy Road Races.

Irish road race supersport championship leader William sealed race victory by 3.478 seconds, over second place finisher Guy Martin.

Guy piloting TAS Racing GSX-R 600 Suzuki for first time this season, edged out Mar Train Racing’s Dean Harrison for second place finish, who showed his proven quality on his return to competition around Armoy.

Keith Amor finished a fine fourth on Rig Deluge Road Racing CBR 600 Honda, as he showed top quality form.

Reigning Irish road race supersport champion Derek Mcgee, sealed fifth place finish. Whilst completing the top six finishers was Derek Sheils competing on BikeBitsNI Racing ZX6R Kawasaki.

Seamus Elliott finished a highly creditable seventh on Wilson Craig Racing CBR 600 Honda.

2014 junior Manx Grand Prix winner Andy Lawson piloting Shirlaws Motorcycles Racing ZX6R Kawasaki, impressed in finishing in eighth position.

Reigning Duke Road Race Rankings champion James Cowton secured ninth place finish on his own teams CBR 600 Honda.

Finalising the top ten finishers was 2014 newcomers A Manx Grand Prix winner Billy Redmayne, Billy tipped by many for 2015 senior Manx Grand Prix victory has gelled with the iconic roads around Armoy.
