It’s all systems go for the Around A Pound Tandragee 100, as the popular meeting opens up the 2017 Irish road racing season.
The likes of Irish road race Superbike champion Derek Sheils, Derek McGee, Davy Morgan plus quite possibly new Halsall Racing signing William Dunlop, are anticipated starters, as is prospective newcomer Forest Dunn, on his own teams Kawasaki.
Yesterday North Armagh Motorcycle & Car Club Ltd, organisers of the Tandragee 100 announced that next years total prize fund for a race schedule which is set to include Superbike, Supersport, Super Twins, 400, 250 and Moto 3 competition, is in excess of £10,000 pounds.

The Supersport race, carries new title sponsorship from Jim & Susan McCullagh, whilst the blue riband feature race of the meeting, the Grand Final, is once again backed by Around A Pound, courtesy of Gerry and Siobhan Rice, of the family run business, first set up in 1998.
The only races at next years Around A Pound Tandragee 100, that will not hold Irish/Ulster road race championship status, are the Open race and the Forgotten Era encounter.

Celebrating 57 years of world class roads action in 2017, the Tandragee 100 is a consistent favourite of multiple riders and teams.
Now holding the honour, of been the opening Irish roads meeting of 2017, don’t be surprised to see some famous names returning to Tandragee, next year, as they continue their preparations ahead of the upcoming international meeting’s.
