There’s set to be an all American combination at TT 2016, as 2010 TT zero race winner Mark Miller, pilots Splitlath Motorsport’s 1195 RS Buell in the RST superbike, Royal London 360 superstock and Pokerstars senior races.
Despite the well documented financial troubles for Buell, Splitlath Motorsports are determined to showcase again the potential of the iconic American machine, around the Mountain Course.
Since bringing Buell’s to the most famous road racing circuit in the world in 2014, main highlights have included highly respectable top 35 finish in last years superstock TT.
TT 2016 marks ten years since Mark Miller competed for the first time at the Isle of Man TT. Alongside his memorable 2010 TT zero success, he produced an eye catching display in the 2015 lightweight TT, finishing an excellent eighth.
Alongside his competition on the Buell, he’s YZF R6 Yamaha mounted for the Monster Energy supersport encounters, whilst like the lightweight race sees him like the majority of the field piloting ER6 Kawasaki machinery.
Although Mark might not be a contender for stand out results on the Buell, the representation of another manufacturer adds an additional touch of variety.
Commenting on his upcoming TT 2016 Buell challenge, on his Facebook page, Mark said:
“Erik’s dream stays alive. How many of us would love to say that? Roll on 2016!”
