Performance Racing Achterhoek Unveil 2019 IRRC Plans

Leading Dutch roads outfit Performance Racing Achterhoek have recently unveiled their plans for the 2019 IRRC series, which sees them tackle again both the Supersport and Superbike championships.

Heading the teams Superbike championship challenge is roads returnee Virgil Amber Bloemhard.

A former IRRC winner at Hengelo, Amber Bloemhard who hasn’t raced competitively since 2013, is quietly confident of contending consistently next year for top ten finishes or better.

Set to pilot in 2019 ZX-10R Kawasaki machinery, whilst it may be a while since he last was involved in high level closed roads competition, he has the experience, proven race craft to be in contention next season for striking results a plenty.

New team mate for 2019 Ilja Caljouw, has developed in recent times into one of the Netherlands fastest rising roads stars.

Eighth within last years IRRC Supersport series, the popular Caljouw impressed many in particular with his performances at Imatranajo, Circuit De Chimay and Frohburger Dreieck.

Alongside running the enthusiastic Caljouw, roads returnee Amber Bloemhard, Performance Racing Achterhoek are also considering running a third rider in next years IRRC series. The identity of the prospective team member at present is not known.
