The 63rd 300 Curves of Gustav Havel, Horice (23rd-24th May – one day before the start of TT practice week – Spring Bank Holiday – Monday 25th May), edition entry process officially opened on Tuesday.
Those targeting meeting projects, have till the 30th of April to place their entries in.
There will be two qualifying sessions (approximately twenty-five minutes) for each listed class on Saturday (23rd May), eight races on Sunday (24th May) including the final scheduled race stint, an ESR (European Series Road Racing) Superbike race (with ESR wildcards, first SBK race inter-twined with Czech Open Road Racing Championship pilots).
Confirmed 2026 event categories are: 125 Sport Production, 125 GP/Moto3, 250 Open, Supersport 300 and 400, Super Twins, Supermono, Sidecars Classic (up to year 1978), Supersport (featuring next generation Supersport) and already mentioned Superbike.
One of the announced potential Horice newcomers is KTM Supermono racer, Jay Bellers Smith from Merthyr Tydfil, Wales. As he stated in a message to meeting organisers, entries in! Let’s party.
There is also good news about the Horice circuit’s final-section, ‘Dachova Hill’ up till the finish-line with new tarmac beginning to be laid down since last Monday.
Additionally, regarding Czech Republic’s most heralded road race venue, the second Horice event of 2026, the ‘Czech TT’ takes place in August (8th-9th) with yesteryear Classics, IRRC Supersport, IRRC Sportbike, previously illustrated ESR Superbike competition taking place.
There is still the possibility for riders to attain an entry, for the Czech road race season opener at ‘Slovacky Okruh’ in Stare Mesto (2nd-3rd May, same weekend as opening IRRC/ESR round at Hengelo).
Over two hundred racers have registered their interest to venture back to Stare Mesto including lap-record holder, overall Dymokury lap-record holder and Supermono Horice lap-record holder, Germany’s fastest TT racer David ‘Datziii’ Datzer.
Before returning to Stare Mesto, where last year he was involved-in a major incident, curtailing the-majority of season expeditions, he is Landshaag, Austria Hill-Climb (11th-12th April) bound, another venue at which the record lap-time crown belongs to the ever-affable German.
