By His nations only current international road racing representative, Croatian roads scene ambassador Zagreb’s Loris Majcan, is eagerly awaiting his third TT Races participation (PB lap speed – 121.34 mph).
For TT 2026, he holds his personal favourite race number, thirty-four for Supersport race endeavours with Croatia TT team’s, next-generation R9 Yamaha.
Previously last month, the official Prize of Krizevci lap-record holder (unofficially all-time lap-record holder is Luka Nervo, set during qualifying) visited the Isle of Man and was pre-season testing at Automotodrom Grobnik aboard Superstock spec R6 Yamaha alongside another rising Croatian street racing rising star, fellow Krizevci competitor Karlo Grsic, the 600cc category lap-record holder at Prize of Zelina.
2026 real road racing vibes in Croatia is increasing by the day, with dates for above highlighted ‘Prize of Krizevci’ and ‘Prize of Zelina’ set plus ‘Nora Race’ at Nova Raca.
The neighbouring nation of Slovenia has its own Classic TT equivalent (at Sredisce ob Dravi) in June whilst an event at the legendary semi-automotodrom Glavica in Pozega is hoped to commence.
Unfortunately same as last year, the ‘Brod Open Races’ are again missing from the provisional 2026 Croatian/Slovenian road racing calendar.
