Roadhouse Macau team’s 2026 IOM shores adventures line-up is complete.
Joining previously announced TT 2026 exponents, 2024 IRRC Superbike Champion David Datzer, team owner/pilot Brian McCormack are a two rider Manx Grand Prix crew, consisting of Wexford’s Brandon Kavanagh (as previously reported by Road Racing News) and prospective Mountain Course newcomer Thomas ‘Uccio’ Altendorfer.
The twenty-eight years old, still improving racer from Linz, Austria, double 2025 European Hill Climb Road Race Championship runner-up (Supersport and GP 250 plus overall medallist in SBK category in 2024) was unable to sample the February Manx GP newcomers’ weekend due to fresh fallen snow at Vienna Airport, forcing cancellation of flights.
Aside from his hill climbing pedigree, Altendorfer has also built a steadily growing reputation in roads scene circles.
Last season he was a IRRC Superbike wildcard at Horice (the same as in 2024) and Frohburger Dreieck (newcomer last year).
Past September’s Dymokury (debutant in 2023) Superbike race he clinched his first ever, pure road race podium finish.
Manx GP preparations are firmly underway and ‘Uccio’ is aiming to head to the Isle of Man in prime racing mode after Landshaag Hill Climb (11th-12th April – home race), Stare Mesto Road Races (2nd-3rd May), ´300 Curves of Gustav Havel´ at Horice (23rd-24th May), Julbach Hill Climb (13th-14th June) events with the ‘Racetastic4 by Datziii #55 Road Racing Team’.
Instead of European Hill Road Race Championship finale action at Spoleto in Italy, where he participated in recent years, the second Manx GP newcomers’ weekend (11th-12th July) takes precedent as the 103rd Anniversary MGP nears (16th-24th August).
Czech Republic roads scene supporters will be able to see him competing in the following month, tackling again Dymokury (5th-6th September), targeting again first-rate finishes, looking to further cement his fastest Austrian competitor title.
