Southern 100 rostrum finisher Craig Kennelly, is the latest ambitious racer to outline his intention to be on Manx Grand Prix racing duty, in August.
Kennelly part last year of Ian Lougher’s Team ILR with Frog Vehicle Developments squad, 2026 prime steed is a YZF R6 Yamaha, that will run under the Resideo Racing banner.
Hoping to return to both the Briggs Equipment Northwest 200 and Southern 100, before MGP objectives, the London rider showed true grit in spades just to make his Mountain Course racing debut in 2025.
A testing incident at Portimao, which left him with pelvis injuries, threw majorly into doubt action on IOM shores.
Ultimately the Manx GP mission came to fruition with Kennelly finishing both the Supersport and Senior races (P46-P49).
As competition wrapped up, his new personal best lap-speed stood near the 108-mph lap-mark (107.644 – 21 minutes 01.829 seconds).
