2026 Cookstown 100: Competition Itinerary

Today’s the day, Irish road racing 2026 style, officially launches!

The 104th Anniversary Bear Competitions Cookstown 100, the opening Irish roads event of 2026, boasts an eighteen-race schedule, including the Grand Final (Cookstown 100 Open (A) Race).

Leading lights primed for Orritor Circuit qualifying, race stints include Paul Jordan (Jackson Racing Powered by Prosper2), Michael Sweeney, Darryl Tweed (Stanley Stewart Racing Powered by Novogen), Smith Racing’s Julian Trummer, Kevin Keyes (Daracore Racing) and Barry Davidson.

Notable racers set to join C100 rider ranks for the first time include 2024 IRRC Superbike Champion David Datzer, Illiam Quayle and Cowton Racing’s Bailey Harker.

Prospective practice, qualifying, races itinerary for this year’s Cookstown 100, reads as follows:

Friday:

Roads close – 7:30 AM

Five lap timed practice/qualifying stints per category

Evening Races:

Super Twins (B)
Open (A) Invitational
Junior Support (B)

Saturday:

Roads close – 7:30 AM

Races running order – race voyages start-time TBC

125 GP/Moto 3/Supersport 300
Lightweight Supersport 400/Classic Era/Twinshock/GP 250
Supersport Next Generation (A)
Open (B)

Junior Classics – up to 250cc
Super Twins (A) incorporating Supermono steeds
Supersport Next Generation (B)
Junior Classics – up to 350cc
Open (A)

Junior Support (A)
Classic Superbike
Senior Classics
Cookstown 100 – Open (B)
Cookstown 100 – Open (A) – Feature Race
