2023 Oliver’s Mount Dates Released

Road racing fans can now pencil into their 2023 diaries, dates for Oliver’s Mount Scarborough meetings.

Absent last year, the Spring Cup returns next year and will run from the 15th-16th April.

This means pending all going to plan, this will be the first UK roads event of 2023.

Following the Spring Cup, another popular event re-joins the pure road racing calendar in July, the Cock O’The North (1st-2nd July), which last took place in 2017.

Fast forward three weeks and then it’s the turn of the Barry Sheene Classic (22nd-23rd July), which clashes with the Aberdare Park Road Races, IRRC round at Circuit De Chimay.

The showpiece Oliver’s Mount meeting, the prestigious Gold Cup is confirmed to take place from the 23rd-24th of September.

Back in September of this year, Adam McLean claimed a well-deserved Steve Henshaw Gold Cup victory, was joined on the podium by Jim Hind and National Superstock 1000 Champion, Milenco by Padgetts Davey Todd.

It’s great news for fans of Oliver’s Mount, UK roads fans, racers, teams, various sponsors, hotel owners, local businesses that four meetings are taking place next year.

There’s also a decent chance that North Yorkshire’s ‘Mini TT’ could host a hill climb and a round of the GB Super Moto Championship.
