Real roads insiders, fans, aficionados focus over the following days will firmly be upon Mexico, as the second edition of the Baja International Tourist Cup takes centre stage.
The Tecate, Baja California based meeting which is the brainchild of popular events organiser Pedro A.Vargas Valdez, sees racers circulating around a nigh on 10 miles long roads course, that is located near the USA border.
Leading confirmed entrants include reigning event Champion, outright lap record holder Eric Wilson and Obsession Engineering team-mate, newcomer, TT Races stalwart, Oliver’s Mount race winner Dave Hewson.
Competitive action is due to commence from 08:00 AM local time on Thursday (29th September), with the opening practice sessions, before timed qualifying stints take place.
Five-lap heat races featuring 1000cc (Superbike/Superstock), 600cc, Ultra-Lightweight, yesteryear machinery follow on Friday.

11:50 AM – Lightweight/Ultra Lightweight/Vintage Super qualifying – 2 Laps
12:40 PM – Vintage Sport/Vintage Stock qualifying – 2 Laps
