Stats: Fastest Oliver’s Mount, Scarborough Racers 2019-2022

Since returning to the pure road racing calendar in 2019, Oliver’s Mount has quickly reaffirmed its’ reputation as one of the most cherished road race circuits worldwide.

Despite the previously stated absence of 1000cc steeds, speeds across the past four years around the unrelenting 2.43 miles long Scarborough circuit, have been hugely, hugely impressive.

This month’s Gold Cup meeting saw Milenco by Padgetts Davey Todd, set the best lap time overall, lapping at 1.45.796 seconds.

Just the third racer in modern times to lap sub 1.46 seconds, he stands third in the overall quickest Scarborough racers list post 2019.

Overall, fastest remains triple TT winner Dean Harrison, thanks to his blistering Supersport lap record (1.44.842 seconds) set at the Gold Cup in 2020.

Gold Cup winner two years ago ahead of Kawasaki mounted Harrison, Ashcourt Racing’s Lee Johnston also bested the prior existing Supersport lap record on multiple occasions, going onto record a best lap time of 1.45.017 seconds.

When combining the lap times from this year’s Gold Cup to last year’s Spring Cup to events during 2019 and 2020, the 50 most rapid pilots at Scarborough over the past four years, are as follows:
