Wepol Racing/Penz 13 Squad Confirm IRRC Superbike Title Defence

Targeting a successful defence of the IRRC Superbike crown, the Wepol Racing by Penz 13.com squad have confirmed that they will have a prominent presence within this years IRRC series.

World Endurance Championship front runners, TT rostrum finishers, Macau GP podium finishers, 2018 saw the outfit delve for the first time into full time IRRC competition, running a four rider team which included now established team legend Danny Webb.

Tunbridge Wells Webb in a league of his own throughout the 2018 IRRC series, wrapped up the Superbike class title in style at Horice (Czech Republic), where he produced the type of performances that made him such a worthy series champion.

Outside of Webb’s tumultuous exploits, we must not forget the achievements of team mates Marek Cerveny and IRRC debutant Jamie Coward, who respectively finished fourth and sixth in the final championship standings.

Confirming their 2019 IRRC series presence, the Wepol/Penz team stated recently via Facebook:

“Mark your calendars! The team will be competing in the IRRC – International Road Racing Championship in 2019!

Who will be on-board of the WEPOL Racing machines? Stay tuned within the next couple of days!”

Racers widely thought to be in contention to pilot the Wepol/Penz BMW machines in 2019 at IRRC events, plus the North West 200 and TT Races, include Frohburg, Imatranajo lap record holder Webb plus second quickest newcomer in TT history Davey Todd, who impressed aboard one of the team’s machines at Macau.
