Walderstown Road Races – Superbike Race News

In a closely contested race which saw three different race leaders William Dunlop held off Derek Sheils to secure superbike race victory at Walderstown road races.

Tyco Suzuki by TAS rider William having his first outing on the teams superbike since senior TT secured race win by 0.679 of a second. Michael Sweeney finished in a solid third place, Michael lead after opening lap and then slotted into second place before maintaining third position on Martin Jones racing backed ZX10 Kawasaki.

Dan Kneen making his Walderstown road races debut was fourth competing on Cookstown Burrows engineering racing GSX-R 1000 Suzuki. Seamus Elliott consistent season continues with fifth place finish, Seamus is currently eighth in Duke road race rankings championship.

John Walsh was a highly creditable sixth whilst Brian Mccormack had a good run recording seventh position. Alan Kenny was eighth whilst Derek Mcgee and Andy Farrell rounded out the top ten.
