Plucky French privateer racer Richard Vuillermet’s Mountain Course racing ambitions, are on hold for 2023 due to budget constraints.
43rd within last year’s Senior Manx Grand Prix, Vuillermet had hoped before unforeseen circumstances to sample modern, yesteryear races at the 100th Anniversary MGP.
Speaking about not travelling to Manx shores next month, the amiable Frenchman stated:
“I’m very disappointed about the Manx as you can imagine but sometimes it is better to cancel and come back, better and stronger.”
Already with one eye on 2024, the former French Hill Climb Champion is hoping to get everything in place to return to Mountain Course rider ranks.
Oliver’s Mount, Irish road racing ventures are also in the plans for the racer who like countless others with varying amounts of experience, race craft, epitomises the unique spirit that pure road racing provides.
