By Post much speculation, will he, won’t he, it is official tonight, 113 times Irish road race winner Michael Dunlop will participate in this year’s Armoy Road Races.
Nine times ‘Race of Legends’ Champion, the 25 times TT winner is unbeaten within the feature race category since 2011.
Issuing their delight at adding the 21st Century pure road racing icon, to the event entry-list, AMRRC (Armoy Motorcycling Road Racing Club) Directors, stated this evening:
“We are delighted to confirm that Michael Dunlop will be racing this weekend. This is his home race and we’re in no doubt that the Club and road racing fans alike will be delighted with this news.
The course is set up and we are currently welcoming a steady number of visitors and riders to Armoy.
We are just hoping the weather works with us over the next few days. We are looking forward to a safe few days and a great weekend of racing.”
