Vauxhall international North west 200 preview – part 4
Podium finisher in the opening superstock race at the North west 200 in 2012, Lee Johnston is back this year competing again on Ducati machinery. Lee is for this year competing for the Rapido sport racing team.
Runner up in the last two Macau grand prix races Martin Jessopp is a rider who is aiming for only one thing this year which is race victories at the North west 200. Podium finisher alongside Martin at the 2012 Macau grand prix was Simon Andrews and for 2013 Simon is back on the roads circuits competing for the RAF Reserves Honda team.
Simon finished in a superb 4th place in the feature race at last years North west 200 and will be aiming to go one better this year and claim a podium finish. Top 10 finisher on his debut at the North west 200 in 2012 Horst Saiger is back this year on Kawasaki machinery. Horst is also for this season making his Isle of Man TT debut.
Top 10 finisher in the supersport race 2 at last years North west 200 Dan Cooper is returning this year riding for the Centurion racing team on Honda and Triumph machinery. North west 200 regular Stephen Thompson is back for the 2013 event on a variety of machinery which includes competing for John Burrows, Cookstown Suzuki team in the superbike races.
Top 10 finisher in the supersport race 2 at the Isle of Man TT in 2012, Ivan Lintin is back at the North west 200 this year competing on Kawasaki machinery in the supersport and super-twin races. We have for this years North west 200 many a top newcomer and this includes Karl Harris.
Karl twice British supersport champion made his Isle of Man TT debut in 2012 and for this year is back at the TT whilst also making his North west 200 debut with the PR racing Kawasaki team. In all what a great North west 200 we have ahead of us, there is the big possibility of having different winners across each race at this years North west 200.
